Dr. Poirazi recently gave a talk at the World Economic Forum’s Meeting of New Champions in Tianjin, China, in which she argued that our ability to form memory associations may be a cost-effective strategy that has evolved in order to optimize both memory capacity and the use of available neural resources. This talk was part of the Ideas Lab session with the European Research Council.
