Our lab has recently expanded its research activities to include experimentation in mice. We have established a surgical unit for rodents (mice and rats), a galvanometric and resonant laser scanning two-photon microscope (Thorlabs) for imaging in vivo and in vitro, and behavioral setups for studying flexible behaviors in head-fixed and freely moving animals. We plan to integrate a complete in vivo imaging and behavior system for monitoring neural activity in head-fixed awake mice during behavioral tasks.
