{"id":734,"date":"2018-10-01T00:00:01","date_gmt":"2018-10-01T00:00:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/139.91.162.68\/?p=734"},"modified":"2021-01-24T12:59:57","modified_gmt":"2021-01-24T12:59:57","slug":"the-erc-demory-project-featured-as-webcomics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dendrites.gr\/?p=734","title":{"rendered":"The ERC dEMORY project featured as&#8230; webcomics!"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"post-head\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"article-desc\">\n<p><strong>Science meets art, art meets science!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ERCcOMICS,\u00a0a creative and ambitious science-communication initiative that exploits the power of visual storytelling to innovate the way European research is communicated, has featured dEMORY as a notable European Research Council (ERC) funded research project, and recently came up with the above illustration,\u00a0inspired by Dr. Poirazi&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=EemxL-_XnZc\">TEDx talk<\/a>\u00a0on the cellular mechanisms of memory formation and recall.<\/p>\n<p>The inititative\u00a0is partnered by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sorbonne-universite.fr\/en\/university\">Sorbonne University<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.labandedestinee.com\/\">La Bande Destin\u00e9e<\/a>\u00a0fellows, and will introduce 16 top quality ERC research projects to the public via the form of webcomics.
