High Performance Computing

Our lab provides all the necessary peripheral services including a powerful High Performance Computational (HPC) cluster used for research applications, intense data analysis and complex simulations.


The cluster consists of 348 High Performance CPU cores, 1.250 Gigabytes of RAM and plenty of Terabytes of High Throughput Storage. The above is the current configuration and there are plans for continuous expansions.  It is accessible at all times from our scientists in the lab and uses “fair share” policies that ensures 24/7 access without the use of time tables, scheduling and other limitations.


A secondary, lower performance, HPC cluster is also maintained for the purposes of sandbox testing without occupying resources from the main cluster.
