Science meets art, art meets science!
ERCcOMICS, a creative and ambitious science-communication initiative that exploits the power of visual storytelling to innovate the way European research is communicated, has featured dEMORY as a notable European Research Council (ERC) funded research project, and recently came up with the above illustration, inspired by Dr. Poirazi’s TEDx talk on the cellular mechanisms of memory formation and recall.
The inititative is partnered by Sorbonne University and La Bande Destinée fellows, and will introduce 16 top quality ERC research projects to the public via the form of webcomics. Its funding is granted by the ERC, under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (Grant No 672466).
